Early Music Festival from 17th till 20th of  September

The eight Early Music Festival, which will be held in Dubrovnik from 17th till 20th September, this year features four diverse concerts with common name theme “openness”, announced today at a press conference Maja Žarković, one of the organizers of the festival. 

Three concerts will be held at the the Duke’s Palace Palace, and one in the St.Ignatius church. The festival will be opened by the concert of ancient Greece and Rome music, which will be performed by the ensemble Musica Romana on 17th September in the Duce’s Palace. Then a concert of ancient Indian ragas performed by Trio Radial. 
Recent European heritage will present Johan Sebastian Bach’s 'Goldberg Variations', performed by Mahan Esfahani, a music festival will conclude the music and verses of Marulić and Drzic and their Croatian and European contemporaries, performed by the ensemble Cantores Maruli. 
Early Music Festival is a valuable cultural project which for eight years fuses sound and architecture of Dubrovnik in a harmonious whole
