EuroCHRIE Conference 2011 will be held in Dubrovnik from 19th till 22nd of October 2011., organized by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and the American College of Management and Technology (ACMT). The European Council of hotels, restaurants and educational institutions (European Council on Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Education - EuroCHRIE) is the official federation for Europe, Mediterranean and Africa, as part of the International Organization Chri (International Chri), the leading international organization that supports education and training for the world's largest industry. EuroCHRIE represents 169 members of the International Chri organizations and brings together educators from renowned European schools and universities in the area of services and management in the tourism industry into a global network that is in close cooperation with industry representatives. Under the umbrella of a CHRIE, educators and industry representatives are joining forces to shape the future of hospitality and tourism. EuroCHRIE organization offers an ideal platform for exchange of information through participation in conferences, publishing papers and networking of interest. The strength of the organization is registered in the force of expansion and exchange of ideas, visions, experiences, educational materials and research. 

 RIT/ACMT was awarded the honor of being the host and organizer of the conference EuroCHRIE in 2011. year. About 200 educators from various reputable schools and universities in the field of tourism and hospitality industry will visit Dubrovnik, where they will attend the conference by presenting papers and participating in various workshops. Rochester Institute of Technology from Rochester, NY, USA is a member of CHRIE organizations, and the American College of Management and Technology, as part of the RIT, is a member of the EuroCHRIE organization. 
RIT / ACMT professors every year with their works and presentations, participate in conferences around the world organized by international CHRIE organizations and EuroCHRIE organization. Theme of this conference is the tourism and hospitality, drivers of transition. The topic has been chosen to highlight the economic and social impact of tourism and hospitality in the transition regions around the world. With a professional program, students have the opportunity for networking, professional development and, of course, exploring the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

The three-day conference program offers many interesting things related to tourism and the change of which can be specifically set aside daily main speakers (key note speakers): • Ms. Pave Zupan Ruskovic, a former minister of tourism, now the president of the Working Group destination management of the city of Dubrovnik, the theme of lecture: Bumpy Roads: Paths of Redefining Tourism in a Transitional Country 
• Ms. Ginny Clark, Vice President of Community Affairs at Constellation Brands Inc.., Lecture topics: Connecting the Dots 
• Mr.. Ivica Vrančić, former Human Resources Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Croatia, now director of Verantius Ltd., the subject of lectures: and People?
