It is important to point out that the Croatian-Hungarian king Koloman was crowned also the Croatian crown in 1102. and he also conquers Split. 

On the basis of a settlement PACTA CONVENTA - emerged Croatian-Hungarian State union, by which Croatia preserved its territorial integrity and independence, and has retained its Parliament, the ban, the military and its own currency. 
From that time, precisely in the second half of the 11th c. occurs pluteus with figure of Croatian King Kresimir IV or Zvonimir who in his right hand helds a cross and in the left hand a ruler ball. It is the oldest presentation of European ruler in the medieval stone sculpture.
