Vestibule

Vestibule was the entrance to the Diocletian's apartment. It is an area selected for the esxusite citizens, especially ambassadors. Vestibule is a circular space with the curved ceiling, by its height and impressiveness had function to prepare visitors to meet the one above them, with a ruler. From the outside it resembles a large cube, inside a circular hall, which was adorned with marble slabs. At the top there is a mosaic dome, and in the niches there were sculptures.
