Srđan Bulat (Split, 1986) attended his first three years at the Split Art Academy with the professor Goran Listeš and graduated with the Professor Darko Petrinjak at the Zagreb Music Academy in 2010. 

He was awarded the Dean’s Award and Rector’s Award of the University of Zagreb for the academic year 2008/2010 as well as recognition for the best student of his generation. His collection reveals numerous national and international recognitions and first prizes at well known international junior competitions: “Andres Segovia” (Velbert, 2002), “Anna Amalia” (Weimar, 2003) and “European Youth Music Award Competition” (Dubrovnik, 2004). 
He won almost all prestigious world competitions in classical guitar: 2008 and 2010 – “Michele Pittaluga” in Alessandria (Italy); 2008 – “Fernando Sor” in Rome, 2009 – “Francisco Tarrega” in Benicassimo; 2010 – “Alhambra” in Valencia; and “Julian Arcas” in Almeria (Spain); 2011 – “Gredos San Diego” in Madrid. In 2009 he was a first prize winner at the young musicians competition “Ferdo Livadić” in Samobor, while our famous composer Željko Brkanović created a Concert for guitar, percussion and strings only for him. Srđan premiered it at the award ceremony. He has played as a soloist with Zagreb Philharmonics, Split Chamber Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Cantus Ensemble, “Vivaldi” Orchestra from Alessandria and Opera Orchestra from Valencia. 
He performed numerous soloist recitals throughout the world. In London, March 2011 Srđan recorded his first professional CD planning to officially present it at the next competition “Julian Arcas” at the end of 2011 under the auspices of RTVE (Spanish National Television).
